Hurling Club - Longford Slashers GAA

LONGFORD SLASHERS HURLING CLUB caters for boys from 6 to 18 years of age & fields teams from U8 right through to Senior level.

Apart from competing in all underage hurling competitions in Longford, we also participate in Westmeath’s underage leagues and blitzes as well as the newly-formed Táin Óg regional leagues. Our boys’ teams have won county titles at every grade in recent years and in 2019 our U14s remarkably won the National Feile na nGael for the 2nd year in-a-row. Our seniors have been playing in the Roscommon and Leitrim senior hurling leagues, winning the latter twice in recent years. In 2017 we lost the County Hurling Final by a single point and we hope to reclaim the title in the near future.
