Massive congratulations to our Ladies senior team and management on their great win over Clonguish in the County final on Saturday morning last to win the title for the 4th year in a row. In what was a very tight affair played in difficult conditions our ladies got off to a good start but Clonguish came back into the game and it was a drawn game at half time 0-06 to 1-03. In what was a very tense 2nd half that could have gone either way, our ladies held their nerve and using their experience gained by being together over the last number of years got the scores that pushed them to a 1 point victory. We will now face either the Westmeath champions Killucan who have to play Old Leighin in the preliminary round. This will be a Leinster IFC quarter final on Sunday October 23rd. Well done again Ladies!!
