On Friday our senior team, minus county players, took on Garycastle of Westmeath. The game proved a useful workout for the team with many players getting the chance to impress the management team. The visitors had a flying start, however our side came into the game as it progressed. On this Friday we play Tullamore and this provides another opportunity for players to impress for places. There was no action for our Junior team this week, probably just as well as many or our players are sitting their Leaving Cert exams. We wish them the best of luck. Our Senior B Championship team play Clonguish on Wed next in Clonguish. This is a knockout competition and we hope the team can progress to the next stage. Finally hard luck to Longford in their quest to reach the Leinster Semi- Final. We'll done to our club players who gave of their best.
