Senior Football Club Notes – 26 May 2014

Published in News, Senior Football

Last week our Reserve League 1 team had a win against Drumlish. The game was played in Drumlish and the team put in a good performance. This team are due to play their last league game against Colmcille next weekend in Ml Fay park at 7pm. On Friday last our Senior team played St. Columba’s in the Laurels. The team were losing by two points at half time and did well to come away with a draw. Our next senior game is against Dromard in Pairc na nGael and is fixed for Friday 13th June at 8pm. This fixture is dependent on how Longford get on in their game against Wexford on June 8th. Our website is being developed by Catherine Brady at present and is progressing well. Hopefully it will be up and running soon and all Slashers supporters will be eagerly looking forward to its launch. Any photographs that supporters might have and are willing to allow us to use would be much appreciated, contact any member of the committee. Our refurbished pitch has been receiving favourable comment from players and supporters. Finally our monthly meeting takes place tomorrow (Thurs) in the clubhouse where our second club draw will also take place.
