Senior Football Championship

Our senior squad had a comprehensive win against Fr. Manning Gaels in Round 1 at Emmet park in Saturday evening last. The team worked hard and created many goal chances and in the end scored a very impressive 4-9. There were a number of players introduced to championship football and they will benefit greatly from the experience. Unfortunately there were a number of injuries and this fact is a cause of great concern. We wish those a speedy recovery. The draw for Round 2 of the senior championship took place on Sunday evening last and our next opponents are Clonguish. This game is on next Sunday 27th. in Maguire Park at 7pm.

A.C.L. Div 3

Also on next Sunday our 'junior' squad play in the A.C.L. Div 3 semi-final, against Emmet Og in Michael Fay Park at 12-30pm. This squad have ended up in 2nd place in the league table and a win on Sunday would have us in a final spot against either Abbeylara or Colmcille.
