Deepest sympathies to the Caslin family on the passing of Slashers great, Noel Caslin. Noel was one of the founding members of Longford Slashers and retained a huge involvement and love for all facets of the club throughout his life. His son, Niall, was a committed dual player and is proudly carrying on his father's legacy through his own children's participation in all things Slashers. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dhílis. There was a great turnout by our U10s for the Westmeath hurling blitz in Mullingar on Saturday last. Despite a few being away we had 16 players & everyone got loads of hurling! We won two, drew one & lost one. Well done to the boys and thanks for the continued great support of their parents. Our Seniors played Clonguish in the Leitrim-Longford Hurling League this Monday in Slashers. Details to follow.
