Published in News, Senior Football

Ar aghaidh libh Flipeadoiri Longfoirt took another step on the championship journey in Ballinalee on Sunday evening taking the points against Emmet Óg. This was a well contested game where the young Slashers team gave an honest performance against great rivals Killoe. There is never much between the sides and again on Sunday the minimum separated the team in the end. A hearty congratulations to Eugene McCormack and his team who worked as a unit to gain the result. Slashers meet Clonguish in Drumlish next Sunday in what will be another important match along the way and once again we wish all the team the very best on the night. There were many positives in the Slashers performance but most of all was the character shown by the side.
