Tickets now available for our social/presentation night on Fri 13 March @€15 each. Tickets can be picked up from committee members and from John McKeon for the senior players at training. Its important to collect tickets early as they are moving quickly because of the interest by our winning junior team and the hurlers. Music on the night will be local group Junk Dog with Niall Ward promising a great show. Congrats to county players Barry Gilleran, Dermot Brady and Peter Foy on another victory in the county colours in Ruislip last Saturday. The three Slashers men performed very well and this is another important step for the team picking up an important 3 points. On 7 March senior action begins with a Reserve League 1 game V Clonguish in Allen Park @7pm. Spring is definitely here once the competitions kick off...Anois teacht an earraigh, beidh an lá ag dul chun síneadh....... On 4 March in Newtowncashel at 7.30pm Colm Farrell and Andrew Dalton will line out again for the county U21 team when they try to repeat the victory over Wicklow last week and do it again against Louth. Both Slashers players contributed well against Wicklow and we wish them the best next week on this next step. Senior training continues on Sun, Tues and Fri. Club membership is being taken up by Treasurer and membership cards being issued. Its important to pay membership early to ensure that insurance cover is provided.
