Published in News, Underage Football

Our under 14's had a mixed week last week. On Thursday our division 1 team exited the league after losing to Granard /Ballymore. On the other hand, our division 2 team had an excellent win against Dromard. This team have shown great skill and commitment to remain unbeaten in the competition. As the u14 squad prepares for the championship, it is very important that we have a full turnout at training every night. Our under 12’s had their first match in the Longford/Leitrim League last Monday evening at home to Mohill. The team played some really nice football and emerged with a comprehensive victory on a scoreline of 8-13 to 1-5. The team are playing football that is a pleasure to watch – moving the ball quickly, tenacious tackling and defending, wonderful scores and everyone played their part in a fine win. Squad on the night was: Stevie O'Brien, David Nevin, Mairtin Kenny, Sean Morgan, Andrew Clancy, John Murray, Dean Wykes, Dean Coughlan, Donal Sheahan, Ronan Sheahan, Miroslav Cureja, Stephen Murray, Micheal Mulcahy, Tim Connellan, Liam Sloane, Adam Murray, Keelan Kelly, Ben Lynn, Ozzie Hackett, Jack Tyrell and Danny Ogboko.
