Slashers came up short against Emmet Óg in the Reserve league this week.  Though leading at half time, a penalty awarded against Slashers proved too much on the scoreboard at full time. Shane Rodgers continues to excel in the backs and the return of Killian Bartley was a boost to the team. Slashers’ forwards Andrew and Niall Kelly, Mark Smith, Seán Clarke and Ciaran Farrell continue to hit the mark and mid-fielder Brian Walsh chipped in 1-1.
